ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

KAPUSKASING, ON - On Feb. 4, at approximately 10 p.m. Kapuskasing officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Kapuskasing Fire Department were advised of an explosion on North Street in the Town of Kapuskasing.
The explosion has damaged two garages and no injuries have been reported at this time.
Police have evacuated all of North Street as well as parts of Golf Street and De L'Etang Boulevard
Anyone requiring assistance can attend the Civic Centre located at 88 Riverside Drive.
The investigation is ongoing and police will provide updates as they become available.
