TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE

The Timmins Police Service has concluded its search of an area adjacent to the Mattagami River off of Norman Street in regard to a report of a missing person.
The Timmins Police Service – Emergency Response Team located the deceased body of Gabriel Murray, 32 of Timmins, early this afternoon.
Murray had been reported to the Timmins Police Service as a missing person on April 27.
Foul play is not suspected in this case.
Next-of-kin notifications have been addressed by the Timmins Police Service.
The immediate area remains under the control of the Timmins Police Service for the time being in order to complete their investigative tasks.
The Timmins Police is grateful for the assistance provided by the Timmins Fire Department and the search efforts of the Timmins – Porcupine Search and Rescue team.
