TIMMINS - The Ontario PC leader is making a campaign stop in the Timmins area.
Doug Ford's schedule for Saturday, Feb. 22 is out and includes stops in Timmins and Iroquois Falls.
He's started the day in Thunder Bay to make an announcement about protecting Ontario.
Later in the day, he'll be in Iroquois Falls for a highway announcement, followed by a visit to The Bucket Shop in Timmins.
Ford was scheduled to be in Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury earlier this week, but that trip was cancelled due to the Delta Airlines crash at Pearson Airport.
Before the Ontario election campaign started, NDP leader Marit Stiles was in town to announce the Timmins candidate.
Ontarians are less than a week away from election day. People head to the polls on Feb. 27.
