Timmins has set a date to start enforcing its parking bylaws again,
According to the City of Timmins, bylaw parking enforcement will resume July 2.
Early in the pandemic, the city stopped enforcing parking metres.
When businesses started being able to open up for curbside pickup in May, the free parking was maintained at metres. However bylaw officers began enforcing the two-hour parking limit to make sure the spaces were available for customers.
This week, city hall also reopened for limited in-person services.
Residents are allowed in to make property tax or water bill payments, or to ask about those bills.
