A couple people are recognizing Casey Hills, the director of care and administrator at the Walford Residence.
"She has been working tirelessly over the past several weeks to ensure that all her residence are safe and cared for during this pandemic. She has been working long hours, evenings and weekends to ensure everything possible is being done in her retirement home. Beyond all this she somehow finds the time to care for and homeschool her six-year-old son. Due to social distancing she has taken everything on with no help from her family and we just want her to know that we are extremely proud of her everyday," said Stephanie Hills.
Casey's husband Chris is also celebrating her hard work as an essential worker.
"She pours her blood sweat and tears into her retirement home that she manages, The Walford. She has sacrificed so much to ensure the best care possible for all her residents. We miss her at home, but we know others need her as well," he said.
