WIth a heat warning in effect, there's good news if you want to cool off.
The splash pads in Timmins and South Porcupine are opening.
According to the City of Timmins, the water park and splash pad areas at White Water Park and Hollinger open to the public at noon today (June 17). The regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
"Those using the splash pads are reminded to practice social distancing and public health recommendations. Signage is being installed to this effect," reads a news release.
