TIMMINS - A new breakfast spot has folks flipping out.
Stacked Pancakes and Breakfast House is opening a new location in Timmins later this spring. One of the franchisees, Mohit Patel, said it will fill a gap in the city's food scene.
“It is already one of the successful restaurants in the GTA,” he said.
Mohit Patel, Kaushal Patel, Harshil M, and Harshil Patel looked into what kind of food Timmins could use and found that a breakfast and lunch specialty would be a good investment.
Stacked has several locations in southern Ontario. The restaurants specialize in pancakes, waffles and french toast, but also offer a full breakfast and lunch menu.
“As we researched, we came to know that Timmins doesn’t have a proper breakfast option,” said Mohit Patel. “We have one of the best lunch options, too!”
The Timmins location will be at 1869 Riverside Dr., next to Cannabis Jacks in the west-end Giant Tiger plaza. The restaurant will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Mohit Patel said they are considering a late May or early June opening date.
