Celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace in the park located near the McIntyre Community Centre. This year's theme is actions for peace. Lunch will be served and all are welcome.

Take Back the Night

Timmins Women in Crisis Centre, 355 Wilson Ave.
For the first time since 2019, this march is taking to the streets in Timmins to raise awareness and build community around ending sexual violence.

A day of free fun is taking over Cedar Street South between Algonquin Boulevard and Second Avenue. Climb N' Fun will be set up with a variety of games, and there will be emergency vehicles for kids to explore and learn about. Beavertails will also be selling its sweet treats all weekend. The truck is open downtown on Friday, Sept. 22 from noon to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This potluck and silent auction is a fundraiser for the Anti-hunger Coalition Timmins (ACT). The feast of local flavours is an opportunity for gardeners, foodies and community members to connect over a shared table of food. Tickets are available here.
