Iconic 70s rock band, The Stampeders, played to a near capacity crowd Saturday night at the Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival in Timmins.
With event security confirming that approximately 1,400 people had come to see the one-night show, the Canadian trio of Rich Dodson (lead guitar), Ronnie King (bass) and Kim Berly (drums) put on another solid performance in their 18-stop tour lineup for 2014 before heading back to British Columbia to play the Sturgis Classic Rock Festival in Merrit, B.C. Sunday night.
Fans looking to see The Stampeders again can catch their next Ontario show when the play the Bala Cranberry Festival on October 18, 2014.
