An annual toy drive is helping make sure everyone has a Merry Christmas.
The Timmins Police Service says its annual drive was "highly successful" and collected $5,102 in toys and cash donations.
"Thanks to the tireless efforts of the staff at Victim’s Services working in collaboration with Const. Caroline Rouillard, area families will be better able to celebrate Christmas with a modest gift," reads a Timmins Police news release.
"Organizers make it clear that they still have an ample amount of toys for children under the age of six, for both genders.
"Once again this year, residents of Timmins displayed their concern and their generosity by donating new unwrapped toys and cash donations as well."
