Work to tear down the former Tisdale Public Works shop is nearly complete.
Early this afternoon, only a small section of the Evans Street building was left standing.
The facility is the third city-owned building to be demolished by the Salvage Kings, the others were the Central Tavern, and a Schumacher house. There is also a private residential demolition that they are doing.
The demolitions were filmed for the Salvage Kings reality TV show, which airs on the History Channel.
In July, council approved sole-sourcing demolitions to the TV production.
The total cost for demolition and abatement is $249,209. That's $20,574 for 34 Fourth Ave., $77,315 for 84 Bruce Ave., and $151,320 for 59 Evans St.
