The province has announced another round of grocery stores that will start selling beer and cider.

Ontario has revealed the next phase of grocery stores that will start selling beer and cider, and Dailey’s Your Independent Grocer made the cut.

Starting in April, the Timmins store located at 654 Algonquin Blvd. E. will start selling the beverages. It is one of 87 grocery stores across the province adding the products to their shelves.

"The rollout of beer and cider in grocery stores has increased convenience for consumers and expanded opportunities for grocers, breweries and cideries to grow their businesses and create more jobs,” said Charles Sousa, Ontario Minister of Finance, in a statement.

In Timmins, Food Basics on Brunette Road is already authorized to sell beer, cider and wine.
