SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON - During the month of February 2018, the South Porcupine Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 316 calls for service which included the following:
- 36 Criminal Code charges
- 275 Provincial Offences charges
- Six violent crimes reported
- Eight property crimes reported
- One drug occurrences
- Two impaired charges
- Four personal injury motor vehicle collisions
- 19 property damage motor vehicle collisions
Members from the South Porcupine, Foleyet, Gogama, Matheson and Iroquois Falls detachments have also conducted 888.75 hours of patrol which includes impaired related patrol and traffic enforcement patrol.
