DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD ONTARIO NORTH EAST

The Board of Trustees of District School Board Ontario North East have voted to accept an offer to purchase Frank P. Krznaric Whitney Public School in Porcupine by Rubino Real Estate Holdings Inc.

The school was closed on June 30, 2014 and students were consolidated into Golden Avenue Public School effective Sept. 1, 2014.

The Earl Street building was constructed in 1972 and had the capacity to hold 280 students.

The Board still has Foleyet Public School on the market for sale.
