Bret Michaels brings Parti-Gras to Timmins

The live music action continues tonight with Live

Classic rock fans have officially experienced Parti-Gras.

Bret Michaels with special guests Dee Snider and Steve Augeri were the headliners for the second night of Rock on the River music festival in Timmins. 

Local band Ruuster kicked off the action on stage, followed by Honeymoon Suite and Lita Ford. 

Tonight (July 20) is the final night of the popular festival. 

Puddy is getting the night started at 6:20 p.m., Danko Jones is on at 7:15 p.m., Buckcherry hits the stage at 8:15 p.m., and Live wraps up the festival with their set at 10 p.m.

The VIP section is sold out, but general admission passes can be bought at the gate while supplies last. 

Before the fun starts in the ticketed area, there are free family activities in Hollinger Park.

  • 12:45 p.m. - BMX And Extreme stunt show 
  • 1:30 p.m. - Chasing Montana
  • 2:15 p.m. - BMX And Extreme stunt show
  • 2:45 p.m. - Northern Acoustic 
  • 3:45 p.m. - Steffi Rivard 
  • 4:30 p.m. - Final BMX And Extreme stunt show 

Today at Gilles Lake there is wakeboarding at the Timmins Wakepark. Along with the pro-am contest, there is a free learn to ride program. More details on that are available here.
