After months of being closed, the Bruce Avenue bridge reopened this week.
The section of road between Spruce Hill Lodge and Legion drive has been closed for months to allow for it to be replaced. It reopened to traffic yesterday (Nov. 15).
"A small section of sidewalk will remain gravel, but has been graded for accessibility. It will be finished in the spring and the sidewalk will be maintained by our road crews throughout the winter," said the City of Timmins in a Facebook post.
"The area around the construction site will also be repaired in the spring."
