Canada Day celebrations will be in a couple of locations this year.
The City of Timmins and Timmins Community Park Association have partnered for a day of activities.
July 1 from noon to 4 p.m. the action is at Hollinger Park where there will be a DJ, foam party and barbecue.
The fireworks are being done by Rampant Fireworks and will be at Porcupine Lake at 10 p.m.
While Canada Day events have been cancelled the past couple of years for the pandemic, prior to that the action was at Participark on the shores of the Mattagami River.
