A family of lynx taking a paws for a break made for a purr-fect photo opportunity on one of Pekka Tuohimaa's daily walks.
Over the weekend, Tuohimaa snapped these photos of lynx along the Bart Thompson trail where it runs parallel to Haileybury Crescent in Porcupine.
He said he's seen them about four times on his walks.
There have been a number of lynx sightings in the area recently.
If you encounter a lynx, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says you shouldn't approach the animal, offer it food or run. More tips are available here.
