Sometime between November 10th and November 11th, 2013 an unknown suspect stole 2 rifles from a vehicle located near Cedar Street in Kapuskasing.
The first long gun is described as an older model Winchester .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a tube magazine, wood stock, blued barrel and iron sights. This rifle was stored in a zippered, beige colored, soft gun case and was secured with a trigger lock. The second firearm is also older but in good condition and is described as a Lakefield .22 caliber bolt action rifle with wood stock, blued barrel and iron sights. This firearm was locked with a cable wire.
Police are looking for public assistance to identify the suspect in this matter.
