OPASATIKA – On April 16, 2016, the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised of a Break and Enter and Mischief in a building on Government Road in Opasatika, Ontario which occurred sometime between the fall of 2015 and January, 2016.

Investigation revealed damage to items within the building as well damage to the building itself totalling $40,000.

The suspect(s) also stole a large amount of copper wire.

The investigation, which is being conducted by the OPP North East Region Criminal Investigation Unit with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) is still ongoing and suspects have not been located.
