Downtown Timmins' first-ever Fall Fest kicks off today.
An apple fest will be part of the weekly Urban Park Farmers' Market on Third Avenue between Cedar and Spruce streets today (Sept. 23). The market bell rings at 11 a.m. There will be a variety of apples and apple-based products.
Friday, Sept. 24 there will be a Farmers' Market and Crafters' Market on Third Avenue. The always-popular BeaverTails will be set up as well.
Saturday, Sept. 25 are family-friendly games and events from noon to 3 p.m. on Third Avenue between Balsam and Spruce.
At 1:30 p.m. is the first-ever pumpkin roll for children, followed by Storytime at the Timmins Public Library at 2:30 p.m. There will also also be a giant maze, the Timmins Tuners, East End Road Rebels, Warriors Kanata - Motorcycle Club, and BeaverTails.
There will also be a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday in the Palace Plaza from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
All of the events run rain or shine.
