Flood warnings in Timmins have been extended.
The notices affect Kamiskotia Lake, Mattagami River and Porcupine Lake.
Water levels on local rivers, streams and lakes remain high after the recent rain, said the Timmins Flood Advisory Committee in the warning.
"Any increase in the water levels over the coming days is difficult to predict and will depend on the weather. Low-lying areas are currently experiencing nuisance flooding. Everyone living in or near a flood hazard area is encouraged to monitor the conditions that are developing and to take appropriate actions to protect their property," reads the notice.

Parents are reminded to talk to their children about the dangers of going near the fast-flowing water. The committee says stream banks will be very slippery and unsafe.
The warning is in effect until Nov. 18 unless updated before then.
