Preparations for the Stars and Thunder Timmins International Fireworks Competition and Music Festival are underway at Hollinger Park.
The Fred Salvador Field is currently closed to the public as site preparation activities have begun for the upcoming festival. Soils are currently being delivered and spread to build the base for the stage that will host artists from June 24 to July 1.
Festival preparations will also include, but will not be limited to, mobilizing trailers, installing fences, and conducting road/parking lot work.
Due to the use of large equipment, we are reminding residents to exercise caution when accessing the parking lot at Hollinger Park.
The Fred Salvadore Field portion of Hollinger Park will remain closed until further notice.
