Golden Avenue Public School has been collecting pop tabs for the March of Dimes for many years.
The 2016-2017 school year was fabulous as far as collecting went. Students, their parents, aunts, uncles, etc., collected them over the year.
On Thursday, Oct. 19, representatives from the March of Dimes were presented with seven photocopy boxes full.
The March of Dimes confirmed to the school that Golden had made the biggest donation in the history of pop tab collecting in Timmins. Way to go Golden!
