BLACK RIVER-MATHESON - Matheson wants people to have their say on what's happening in the municipality.

Black River-Matheson has launched an online survey to gather insights on how residents engage with the municipality and what activities they believe should be prioritized. It includes 10 questions and takes about 10 minutes to complete.

The survey asks people to provide information on their demographics, residency status, and preferred methods of receiving municipal updates. It also explores residents’ opinions on key topics such as budget planning, infrastructure projects, and public safety.

“Many municipalities are increasingly recognizing the importance of involving residents in decision-making processes. This has led to developing formalized plans to engage their communities and collect feedback,” the municipality wrote in the survey introduction.

“Additionally, the use of online engagement platforms is growing. These platforms allow residents to participate at their convenience, making it easier for more people to get involved.”

The survey can be found here.
