A Northern Ontario city is in the running to be crowned this year's Kraft Hockeyville and needs your help to net the win.
The 32-hour voting window for the competition opened yesterday (Friday, March 29) and closes today (March 30) at 5 p.m. There are four communities from across Canada left in the running to win $250,000 and an NHL game.
Elliot Lake has been without an arena since September, which means that teams and players are travelling out of town to hit the ice. The community has its eye on the first-place prize money to help replace the Centennial Arena.
Here's what you need to know to vote:
- It's open to legal residents of Canada who are 14 years and older
- Cast your vote online at KraftHockeyville.ca
- You can vote as many times as you can
The results will be announced during tonight's Hockey Night in Canada broadcast after the first period.
