Rainfall warning in effect for:
- Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
Locally heavy rain and significant snow melt continue early this morning.
Locally heavy showers will continue early this morning. Local rainfall amounts up to 25 mm are expected by the time the showers come to an end early this morning. In addition, very mild temperatures will result in rapid snow melt and significant run-off during this time period.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.

Freezing rain warning in effect for:
- Kapuskasing - Hearst - Smooth Rock Falls
Freezing rain will continue early this morning.
Significant ice build-up is likely before the freezing rain transitions to snow early this morning.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
