Here's the holiday public skating schedule

Capacity limits mean there's a maximum of 50 people allowed on the ice

New provincial capacity limits affect how public skating will run over the holidays. 

Public skating is running at the McIntyre Arena, Whitney Arena and Archie Dillon Sportsplex. There is a maximum of 50 people allowed on the ice at a time.

The City of Timmins is asking people to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the skate starts. People 12 years and older will need a proof-of-vaccination certificate with the QR code and photo identification.

The schedule is:

Monday, Dec. 27

  • McIntyre, 11 a.m. - noon 
  • Whitney, 3-4 p.m.
  • Sportsplex, 1-2 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 28

  • McIntyre, 3-4 p.m.
  • Whitney, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Sportsplex, 1-2 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 29 

  • McIntyre, 3-4 p.m.
  • Whitney, 1-2 p.m.
  • Sportsplex, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 30 

  • McIntyre, 11 a.m. - noon 
  • Whitney, 3-4 p.m.
  • Sportsplex, 1-2 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 2

  • McIntyre, 1-2 p.m.
  • Sportsplex, 3-4 p.m.
