The snow and blowing wind have led to some closures in Timmins.
Along with several road closures, local businesses are also shutting down for the day. Buses are cancelled across the region.
Here's what's closed today, this list will be updated as information is sent in:
- Ellevive's office is closed, but the shelter remains open.
- The Timmins Learning Centre's homework club is cancelled.
- NDAD dance classes are cancelled.
- Dog obedience class at the Maurice Londry Community Centre is cancelled. It will be rescheduled.
- College Boreal's campuses in Hearst, Kapuskasing and Timmins are closed today.
- Melissa Kelly Dance Academy classes tonight are cancelled.
- Conseil scolaire catholique des Grands Rivières schools are closed. Teaching is being done virtually and secondary school exams are postponed.
