This month’s project is Christmas icicle pinecones. Create a simple, beautiful ornament to decorate your home or to offer as a gift. The makerspace is open during regular library hours until Dec. 22.

Admission is $2 and there will be more than 20 crafters and vendors, a bake sale and prizes. It’s to support the Grade 7 and 8 art clubs.

Enjoy festive fun at three locations! At the Timmins Public Library, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will have a gift for every child, and there is magnet making, storytelling, and songs. At the museum there will be salt dough ornaments, a bonfire, and family photos by a professional photographer. The TEDC will be offering hot chocolate and cookies, live music, temporary Christmas tattoos, Queen Elsa, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. All the events are free. Donations are being collected for the food banks at all locations.

Hosted by the Porcupine Horticultural Society and St. Paul’s Anglican Church. There will be carol singing and refreshments after in the church hall. Everyone is welcome.
