Christmas Craft and Vendor Show

Get out your Christmas list! This annual show is a great spot to shop from local makers and vendors, and meet up with a few friends along the way! There's something for everyone.

 

 

 

Val's Ton in a Tundra
Friday, Dec. 1

It's the 19th year for the Ton in a Tundra fundraiser in Timmins. Rogers Radio, James Toyota and the Anti-hunger Coalition Timmins are teaming up for this year's event to provide food to people in need this holiday season. To help out, drop off non-perishable food items or cash donations to one of the six locations across the city on Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be vehicles at Pick of the Crop, Johnson's Your Independent Grocer, Metro, Garett's No Frills, Timmins Foodland, and Food Basics in the Porcupine Mall and Timmins.

 

 

 

Holiday Fun Day
Saturday, Dec. 2, 1-4 p.m.
Downtown Timmins

There's free holiday fun at three locations in downtown Timmins. At the Timmins Public Library you can meet Santa Claus and there's a gift for every child, there will also be storytelling and holiday music, holiday bookmarks to colour and activity sheets, and a free holiday book for every child. At the Timmins Museum: NEC you can check out the community gingerbread contest entries and vote for your favourite creation. At the TEDC, there's hot chocolate and Timbits, live music, temporary Christmas tattoos and a warming station. On Second Avenue, you can explore emergency vehicles and roast marshmallows. Timmins Coin Club
Sunday, Dec. 3, 1:30-4 p.m.
Timmins Museum: NEC

The monthly meeting will feature a numismatic presentation and open collecting discussion. Everyone is welcome to attend to learn more about the club.
