TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.
Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.
According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:
Monday, Jan. 13
- Timmins - Spruce from Sixth to Kirby, Pine from Sixth to Kirby, Cedar from Fifth to Kirby,
Tuesday, Jan. 14
- Timmins - Poplar, Willow, Oak, Ann from Gillies to the dead end, Fogg from Algonquin to Ann, Avenue from Algonquin to the dead end, Charles from Algonquin to dead end, Cloutier from Oak to Willow, Gillies,
Wednesday, Jan. 15
- Timmins - Third, Second, Balsam from Fifth to Kirby.
Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will take place:

- Timmins - Way from Mountjoy to Preston, Way from Rea to Cameron, Windsor, Middleton, Bannerman
Tuesday, Jan. 14
- Timmins - Cherry from Seventh to Eighth, Cherry from Empire to Murdock, Cherry from Eighth to dead end, Burke, Harmony, Patricia from Eighth to Ross, Howard, Leone.
Wednesday, Jan. 15
- Timmins - Floral, Crescent, Lincoln, Carlin, Polaris.
Thursday, Jan. 16
- Timmins - Bonaventure, Meadow, Pleasant, Castlewood, Majestic, Diamond.
Friday, Jan. 17
- Churches and storefronts
