TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.
Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.
According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:
Monday, Jan. 19
- Timmins - Third, Second, Balsam from Sixth to Kirby
Tuesday, Jan. 21
- Timmins - Ross, Jubilee, Lafleur bridge
Wednesday, Jan. 22
- Timmins - Birch from Sixth to Maple, Maple from Sixth to Second, Elm from Sixth to Second
Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It will take place:
Monday, Jan. 20
- Timmins - Patricia north of Ross, Hart north of Ross, Gordon, Diane, Murray
- South Porcupine - William, Cecil, Essa
Tuesday, Jan. 21
- Timmins - Quartz, George, Jade, Melrose
- Schumacher - Father Costell, Grant, Croatia
Wednesday, Jan. 22
- Timmins - Harmony, Leone, Kay, Murdoch, Cherry, Empire
- South Porcupine - Dome, Shamrock, Bloor
Thursday, Jan. 23
- Timmins - Hemlock from Eighth to Brousseau, Tamarack from Eighth to Brousseau, Roche, Spruce from Ross to Brousseau, Hendry
- Schumacher - Dwyer, Hollinger Lane, Les Hall, Fourth, Vipond
