Here's where the city's removing snow this week

TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.

Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.

According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:

Monday, Feb. 17

  • Highway 101 from the Schumacher flags to Brunette, Railway

Tuesday, Feb. 18

  • Harold from Legion to Northern College, Crawford from Harold to Dome, King from Bristol to Bob's Lake Drive

Wednesday, Feb. 19

  • Brousseau, Hamelin, Westmount, Victoria

Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It will take place:

Tuesday, Feb. 18

  • Timmins - Gatineau, Viscount, Timcor 
  • Connaught Hill - Lyall, Goldrush, Summers, MacDougall, Glenn, Galbraith, Tisdale, Smith from Tisdale to Summers

Wednesday, Feb. 19

  • Timmins - Mascioli, Logan Kerr, Ray Canie,Argento, Brian Romain 
  • Connaught Hill - Warner, Evans, Dunn from Tisdale to Warner, Smith from Tisdale to Walter Lane, Leighton, Mahon Lane, Allan

Thursday, Feb. 20

  • Timmins - Cedar from Fifth to Jubilee, Lois, Rosemarie, Lalonde

Friday, Feb. 21

  • Churches and storefronts
  • Porcupine - Mildred, Dixon, Coott, Carlos, Haileybury, Krznaric
