Here's where the city's removing snow this week

TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.

Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.

According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:

Sunday, March 16

  • South Porcupine - Harold from the Beer Store to Tim Hortons, Bruce Avenue, Main

Monday, March 17

  • Highway 101 East/Algonquin from Father Costello to Brunette

Tuesday, March 18

  • Riverside from the bridge to Shirley

Wednesday, March 19

  • Timmins - Maclean, Theriault

Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It will take place:

Monday, March 17

  • Timmins - Bannerman, Belanger 
  • South Porcupine - William, Cecil, Broadway, O'Brian

Tuesday, March 18

  • Timmins - Birch from Fifth to Ninth, Balsam from Fifth to Ninth
  • Schumacher - Croatia, Father Costello Drive, Claimpost Trail

Wednesday, March 19

  • Timmins - Rea from Belanger to Southern, Belanger 
  • South Porcupine - Moore, Huot, Front

Thursday, March 20

  • Timmins - Rea from powerline to Jubilee, Belleview, Chenier, Maurice, Richard

Friday, March 7

  • Timmins - Clifford, Greeningdon, Chestnut
  • South Porcupine - Main Street north from Harold to dead end, Moore Street North from Harold to dead end, Legion Street North from Harold to dead end, Evans, Laffin
