Here's where the city's removing snow this week

TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.

Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.

According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:

Sunday, March 23

  • Pine from Fifth to Kirby, Cedar from Fifth to Kirby, Balsam from Fifth to First

Monday, March 24

  • Spruce from Sixth to Kirby, Second, Third

Tuesday, March 25

  • Birch from Fifth to Second, Maple from Fifth to Second, Elm from Fifth to Second

Wednesday, March 26

  • Cameron from Algonquin to Columbus, Preston from Algonquin to Southern, Mountjoy

Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It will take place:

Monday, March 24

  • Timmins - First from Pine to Mountjoy, Elm from Second to dead end, Maple from Second to dead end 
  • Porcupine - Ferguson, Lawrence, Clement

Tuesday, March 25

  • Timmins - Chenier, Maurice, Richard 
  • Porcupine - Michener, Girdwood, Renison, Bergeron

Wednesday, March 26

  • Timmins - Rea from Algonquin to Jubilee, Belleview 
  • South Porcupine - Bloor, Shamrock, Dome

Thursday, March 27

  • Timmins - Camille, Laurentian, Hart from Murdock to Ross, Patricia from Eighth to Ross, Murdock

Friday, March 7

  • Timmins - Clifford, Greeningdon, Chestnut
  • Porcupine - Spillenaar, Tyyne Court, Daniel, David, Grace
