Here's where the city's removing snow this week

Public works crews will be doing snow removal day and night this week.

According to the City of Timmins, overnight snow removal, which is done between 9:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., may happen:

Sunday, Jan. 8

  • South Porcupine - Bruce from Legion to Lakeview, Golden from Legion to Evans, Main from Strachan to Shamrock, Crawford from Golden to Shamrock, Powell from Crawford to Legion

Monday, Jan. 9

  • Connecting Link - King, Harold

Tuesday, Jan. 10

  • Connecting Link - Schumacher highway from Carium to 655

Wednesday, Jan. 11

  • Connecting Link - Algonquin from Highway 655 to Pine

Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 9

  • Timmins - Columbus from Mountjoy to Cameron, Montgomery from Mountjoy to Cameron, Southern from Mountjoy to Rea
  • South Porcupine - O’Brian from Main to Moore, Broadway from Moore to Crawford, Essa from Moore to the dead end

Tuesday, Jan. 10

  • Timmins - Fifth from Cedar to Mountjoy, Cead from Sixth to Mountjoy, Balsam from Sixth to dead end 
  • South Porcupine - Dome from Moore to dead end, Shamrock from Legion to dead end, Bloor from Legion to Lakeview

Wednesday, Jan. 11

  • Timmins - Birch from Sixth to dead end, Maple from Sixth to Ninth, Elm from Sixth to Ninth 
  • South Porcupine - Moore from Harold to Quebec, Quebec from Legion to Moore, Strachan from Legion to Main

Thursday, Jan. 12

  • Timmins - Seventh from Toke to Maclean, Floral from Maclean to Rea, Laurier from Mountjoy to Rea, Borden from Mountjoy to dead end 
  • Schumacher - Fourth from Boundary to Pondarosa, Pondarosa from Fourth to Croatia, Veterans from Croatia to Fourth, Brundy from Delost to Boundary

Friday, Jan. 13

  • Timmins - Churches and store fronts 
  • South Porcupine - Legion from Harold to Quebec, Front from Essa to dead end, Huot from Essa to dead end
