Here's where the city's removing snow this week

TIMMINS - The winter weather has arrived, which means city crews are out clearing snow.

Public works crews are doing snow removal day and night this week.

According to the City of Timmins, the schedule for overnight snow removal, which is done between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., is:

Sunday, Dec. 22

  • Timmins - Theriault, College, Shirley, St-Jean

Monday, Dec. 23

  • Timmins - Toke, Ross, Jubilee

Tuesday, Dec. 17

  • South Porcupine - Bruce from Lakeview to Legion. Golden from Evans to Legion, Crawford from Golden to Shamrock, Main from Strachan to Shamrock. Powell from Legion to Crawford

Daytime snow removal runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It will take place:

Monday, Dec. 23

  • Timmins - Sterling from Spruce to Delmonte, Birch from Moneta to the dead end, Wilcox from Sterling to Southern, Coronation, Cody, Tonelli, Delmonte

Tuesday, Dec. 24

  • Timmins - Victoria, Reg Pope, Dieppe, Lois

Friday, Dec. 27

  • Timmins - Park, Joseph, Power
  • South Porcupine - Churches and storefronts
