Here's who had the best floats at the Santa Claus Parade

The winning entries are in for the 30th Annual Timmins Santa Claus Parade

People lined the streets of downtown Timmins Saturday night to see all the floats, and catch a glimpse of Santa Claus. 

This year, there were entries from high schools, businesses, service clubs, cadets, dance groups, and more. According to the Downtown Timmins BIA, there were more than 15,000 spectators. 

The winning entries are:

    •    Best in Theme: Ecole secondaire catholique Theriault
    •    Best Walking Group: Pat Picard School of Dance
    •    Best Small Entry: Lady Luck Restaurant and Buffet
    •    Best Large Entry: Ontario Power Generation
    •    Best Marching Group: Cadets Canada – Air, Army and Sea Cadets of Timmins
    •    Most Spirited: Melissa Kelly Dance Academy, BMT Insurance and Jennifer Kelly of Girones Lawyers
    •    Brightest: Boston Pizza
    •    Best Animated: Timmins Economic Development Corporation
    •    Most Comical: Viau Plumbing and Heating Inc
    •    Most Original: Timmins Native Friendship Centre
    •    Most Artistic: Bucket Shop Inc
    •    Best Animal Entry: Timmins and District  Humane Society
    •    Judges Choice: Timmins Community Park Association/Discovery Fitness Discovery Performance
    •    Honorable Mention: Knights of Columbus

The theme for the 2020 Timmins Santa Claus Parade will be announced at an upcoming council meeting, when the plaques will be awarded to the winners.
