A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.
Environment Canada says an Alberta clipper moving through the region will "continue to cause hazardous travel conditions this morning into tonight". Ten to 15 centimetres of snow is expected.
Highway 101 from Porcupine to Matheson was closed earlier today due to weather and has since reopened.
Schools buses are cancelled in Timmins and area.
More details will be posted when available.
