NORTH BAY — There is absolutely no doubt that Jerry O’Connell is making the most of his time living in North Bay away from the set of the TV series Carter that he is starring in.

On Saturday, O’Connell was a guest referee for a Northland Wrestling event at the Davedi Club where he entered the ring with chants of “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!”

But it was his love for karaoke that caught the attention of TMZ as they wrote about O’Connell’s antics at the Fraser Tavern last Thursday where he wowed the crowd with his version of “I Feel it Coming” by The Weekend.

“I love karaoke nights every Thursday at the Fraser,” O’Connell told the media on Thursday morning during a media day on the set of Carter at Amelia Park.

“You can usually catch me there, I usually do a number or two, I don’t like to hog the whole microphone.  They have some great performers there,” added the colourful New York actor.

And yes, the city is embracing O’Connell’s love for North Bay as the endless list of selfies with Jerry continue to roll out on local social media streams.

One comical post actually showed the North Bay population sign with another small sign underneath reading “plus Jerry O’Connell”.
