TIMMINS - A Juno Award-winning musician from the City with the Heart of Gold is headlining a local show next year.
On Saturday, May 10 pop/R&B artist Preston Pablo and a special guest are on stage at the McIntyre arena in Timmins. Tickets are $40 and go on sale on Friday, Dec. 6 at noon. When available, the link to buy tickets is here.
The show is being put on by the Timmins Festivals and Events Committee (TFEC) as a way of celebrating its 10th year operating.
Born and raised in Timmins, Pablo is a Timmins High and Vocational School grad. He left the area several years ago to pursue his big dreams of being a musician.
Shortly after — in 2023 — he won a Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and performed his single Flowers Need Rain at the show.
Now 23, his most recent single is Move Like That.
