A Kapuskasing woman is buying a few more Christmas presents thanks to a windfall.

Nadine Morin won $131,082 from the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation's (TADHF) November 50/50 draw.

"To say Nadine was happy would definitely be an understatement! Her first call was to her husband but he didn’t answer so she texted her daughters with the good news," reads the TADHF news release.

"She gave up waiting for her husband to call back and ended up telling a few people, including her mom!

Along with Christmas shopping, she plans to pay off some debt and add to her pension, according to the announcement.

Tickets for the December draw are already on sale and can be bought online here

For the first time, this month tickets are also available in person from a pop-up store at the Timmins Square. It means you can stop in to buy tickets and leave with the printed tickets.
