Temiskaming Shores resident Eric Cummings has announced his candidacy for the upcoming provincial election as a candidate for the Ontario Libertarian Party in the Timiskaming-Cochrane riding.
Cummings grew up in the Temagami area and has an education background in natural resource management and work experience in both the public and private sectors.
He says he is an advocate for conservation and has sat on the Fisheries Management Zone 11 Committee and has been a long-time member/supporter of Ducks Unlimited Canada.
In a news release he says he "is adherent to the principles of the Ontario Libertarian Party, individual freedom, personal responsibility, respect, and fairness."
