North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has announced this morning that morning buses are cancelled in Hearst, Kapuskasing and Smooth Rock Falls due to the highway closure.
Afternoon buses will run if the highway reopens in time. Please check notifications for status of afternoon buses after 12 p.m.
The North East Tri-Board Student Transportation provides services for District School Board Ontario North East, the Northeastern Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario.
Schools remain open.
