KAPUSKASING - There's a new second-in-command at a Kapuskasing school.
Kim Boucher-Raymond has been named as the vice principal at École publique Le Cœur du Nord in Kapuskasing, Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) announced on Tuesday (June 18).
Boucher-Raymond has over 25 years experience in French education and is currently a special education consultant for CSPNE at schools in Hearst and Kapuskasing.
"We are confident that the arrival of Ms. Boucher-Raymond will bring a positive vision and a spirit of collaboration that will enable the CSPNE to achieve excellence and increase the success rate of its students," said director of education Yves Laliberté in a news release.
She's replacing Andrea Bertrand-Gendron, who was recently named principal at the school. At the start of the new school year, Patrick La Salle will be principal at École secondaire publique Écho du Nord.
