Join Our Team! Ontario Northland Hosts Job Fair
NORTH BAY - On Wednesday, February 17 from 3-6 p.m. Ontario Northland will be opening the doors of the Remanufacturing and Repair Centre to job seekers in an effort to fill vacancies including nine Production Worker positions.
“This is an exciting time for Ontario Northland,” says Corina Moore, President and CEO of Ontario Northland. “There is a lot of work to do and we are looking for skilled, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team. The job fair will allow interested applicants to see our facilities, meet our team and view the quality work we produce in our Remanufacturing and Repair Shop.”
In addition to the nine production worker positions, Ontario Northland is also accepting applications for the following positions, which will be recruited for over the next three months:
- 5 Railway Car Mechanics (North Bay, Cochrane, Rouyn Noranda)
- 4 Diesel Mechanics (North Bay, Cochrane, Englehart)
- 2 Truck and Coach Mechanics (North Bay & Timmins)
- Metal Fabricators (Fitter)
- 2 Electricians (Cochrane)
- Engineer in Training
- Engineering Specialist
- Junior Buyer
- Senior Manager Operations
- Chief Transportation Officer (Englehart or Cochrane)
- Supervisor of Passenger Services(Cochrane)
- Financial Analyst
- Business Process Analyst
- HR Business Partner
Representatives from all operating divisions will be on hand to speak about current and future job opportunities at the company. In total, Ontario Northland is looking to fill over 30 positions in the next three months.

The job fair is being held at the Remanufacturing and Repair Shop, located at 915 McIntyre Street East in North Bay.
