The northern lights put on a colourful show captured by James Bay OPP officers recently.
While patrolling the James Bay winter road, officers captured photos of the northern lights, according to the OPP North East Region on Twitter.

The scene is bringing back memories for some of their followers.
I remember flying up to Fort Albany and the Northern lights were all around the plane. It was magical. Another night in Cat Lake it was 30 below, 3am and we had just had a medivac. We stood out on the lake watching the lights and listening to an owl.
