The 2023 lineup for Timmins' two-day music festival has been revealed.
The next edition of Rock on the River is taking place July 21 and 22 at Hollinger Park.
Dallas Smith is headlining the Friday night show, which will also feature the James Barker Band, The Reklaws and Rosewood Ave.
Papa Roach will take the stage as the main act for Saturday's show. The openers are Default, Crown Lands and Dopamine.
“Country music has been the most requested genre outside of rock. Rock is what we’re known for, but we want to deliver a live music festival that appeals to the largest number of people. Dallas Smith is one of the biggest country stars right now, we went all out," said John Olaveson, Timmins Festivals and Events Committee chair, in a news release.
“People also asked that we announce the line-up ASAP. We’re six months early on previous announcements and that works for this summer’s festival headliner. Get your tickets early. Book your summer vacation now. You won’t want to miss Papa Roach. This is one of the biggest bands we’ve ever booked!”
