Based on a tip received by Timmins Police Service Const Rick Lemieux, officers were able to grant a lifelong wish for a special needs individual who is under the care of Community Living Timmins.

Raymond Campsall, 63, of Timmins, has always "wanted to be a cop".

Const David Ainsworth of the Timmins Police Service attended Raymond's group home on May 12 and granted him his wish.

Raymond was allowed to wear an official Timmins Police Service uniform shirt and forage cap and pose for photos.

He was also taken for a brief tour of duty in a Timmins Police cruiser in his neighborhood and allowed to fire up the lights and siren. On many occasions, Raymond was overheard to say "this is my dream".

The Timmins Police Service is pleased to have made Raymond's day by allowing him the opportunity to live out his life long dream, if only for a brief period of time.

Raymond Campsall is always waving to his friends at the Timmins Police Service in the course of their patrols.

The Timmins Police Service values the relationship it enjoys with Community Living Timmins and its clients.
